Natural, Colorful, You!

Natural: I am a big believer in natural beauty, these days you can find dozens of photographers who over process, over edit and just plain over do it, when it come to photography. Just because you can use Photoshop to edit like crazy, doesn’t always mean you should. People should look like people, not air brushed dolls. Getting rid of a few wrinkles and unwanted blemishes is always nice, but that’s as far as I like to go. You are beautiful just the way you are! Natural also means nature! I love the outdoors, there is so much beauty in Colorado, just waiting to be captured. It also means natural lighting, I do not use any studio lighting in any of my photography, I prefer the look of sunlight in every form.

Colorful: I am attracted to color, vibrant happy colors. I believe color conveys mood and adds interest. You will see most of my work is very colorful. I have studied art in various forms, and I know what a benefit color is to a work of art, it can make or break a portrait. I also believe black and white are colors. Black and white photos are timeless, and the lack of color can really enhance emotions in some photos. You won’t see too many black and whites on my site, but I love them, and I give them to clients all the time.

You: this is the most important part, You, the client! You are the person in the picture, and you are the one who will hopefully cherish these images forever. Your ideas are always encouraged. I don’t like to give people cookie cutter images, everyone is different and has a different personality, I want you to have pictures that you love, pictures that capture your style and personality. You also means, you deserve your photos! You pay a lot to have me take your pictures, and they should belong to you. I give you, your images on a disc with full rights to use them however you want, and you always have the option to order professional prints as well.
