Al and I are down-to-earth, energetic wedding professionals! We will work hard to make sure that your day is everything you planned it to be. We want to help it go smoothly and help you smile! It’s important to hire a team that you are comfortable with — you want to be able to laugh and have fun — this helps you feel more at ease and helps your pictures come out better. You also want to trust your most important day to actual professionals to ensure quality.
Our mission is to provide you with quality service at an affordable price. We don’t believe your wedding needs to cost more than your house! And we don’t think you need to compromise on quality and professionalism either. We believe that your wedding should be everything you want it to be. And BG Productions strives to help make all your dreams possible — we go above and beyond to help achieve this goal.
Our approach is a photojournalist style. But that being said — don’t worry, we still make sure we get all the posed formal pictures. However we love to capture all the funky shots. I am usually on the floor at some point and on a chair if allowed by the venue! Al can be seen with his video camera high over head on the dance floor and often using his glide cam for all those really smooth shots!
We also believe in being green and socially conscience. We will take a stand for what we believe in and live our lives working towards helping the environment and trying to make this world a better place. We strive to make BG Productions as green a company as possible.

If you are getting married, you have probably figured out that it can be overwhelming for various reasons. You want everything to be just right, perfect! And you do everything to ensure that it turns out perfectly but what you don’t realize is that on that special day you are flying so high you are not aware of what is happening. You don’t realize until you come down from the UlLTRA high that you cannot remember much! So, yes, this is a testimony for Al and Cathie because we made a wise choice in selecting them to shoot our wedding. Yea, they fit in, they were down to earth but they captured some very precious, tender, funny and intimate moments. And, the quality of their work is superb. Because of their experience they offer great advice in terms of shooting selections. One final word — We didn’t place much value on the video in the beginning but what a major loss it would have been had we not decided to go with both pictures and video. -Gabrielle & Valerie
