Marriage Equality is Here!
Congratulations New York! On June 24, 2011, we made law the beauty and right of same-sex marriage. The day Massachusetts passed Marriage Equality on May 16, 2004, I also was up most of the night at Cambridge City Hall, cheering friends getting their wedding licenses at the dawn of May 17th. In NYC Pride Marches, I participate as the Jester of the Peace, “marrying” enthusiastic same-sex couples all along the route in sweet and fun little spontaneous ceremonies. I stand with you for nationwide Marriage Equality in surety and joy.
