So You're EnGAYged, a LGBT wedding blog

Owner, Rebecca Fitzgerald at Forget Me Not Florist worked with my partner and I in creating the ideal feeling for our wedding. We wanted a Berkeley, California feeling to our flowers: lush, wildflowers with herbs. She was attentive, enthusiastic, and gay-friendly, all qualities we wanted in a florist! When we met with Becky for a consultation, she served us tea and cookies, and asked about our preferences. Then, she used her own creativity, good judgment, and enthusiasm to help us create a glorious display of flowers. Because it was important to us to have scented Geraniums, Eucalyptus, and sweet pea flowers, Becky worked hard to find them. We wanted pinks and purples with great texture; Becky used her knowledge and love of flowers to help us create gorgeous bouquets, center pieces, and corsages. She kept in contact with us as the date approached, and was generous with her time and her flowers. Everything arrived on time (care of Becky), and my bouquet even had little drops of water on the roses! The price was well worth it, and reasonable for what we had! - Heather & Erin

My fiance and I are getting married in 2012 and had been searching in Western MA for a LGBT friendly/aware/knowledge vendors. We had found Forget Me Not through some friends. I called and spoke with Rebecca. When I told her that we were going to need 2 bridal bouquets, she did not skip a beat. It was wonderful. We made an appointment and she had made some beautiful samples for us to look at. Rebecca is a very supportive and the fact that she has worked with LGBT identified couples gives her that extra edge.
